About Us
NISA was formed for Northern Inuit owners and breeders in both the US and Canada continuing the Northern Inuit Society of the UK's quest for recognition of this stunning breed. As popularity of the breed grows, owners of Northern Inuits in the US and Canada also need a governing body to oversee and coordinate breed promotional events, dogs shows, etc. Many of the breeders in the US hope to turn out some champions of our own. Furthermore, NISA will run a Northern Inuit rescue and re-homing program for any Northern Inuit who can no longer be cared for by their owner (hopefully this service will not be needed). We have the support from several experienced vetenarians and we will be working alongside other businesses and charities to help promote this majestic breed.
